Letter #09 - Summer is back (for now) and so is this newsletter
& some thoughts on introducing color in the wardrobe
Dear all,
Summer finally decided to show her face again in Munich and for the first time in a very long time (felt like months) we can leave the umbrella at home. I decided this year I will introduce a bit more color in my wardrobe, which is ironic, because I am writing this from the beige-est of outfits, but one step at a time. I think in terms of color, blue and green are the easiest to introduce without scaring the minimalist in you, so I have assembled a selection of some items that are either on my wish list (how cute is this H&M dress) or it’s something I have already (my precious watch which I only wear for special occasions now because Garmin is basically my best friend now).
Anyway, I hope wherever you are - the sun is shining, and the summer still feels long, and you have an Aperol in your hand - or the prospect of one soon. If you are on the beach, and looking for an easy read - highly recommend the “The unexpected joy of being single”. Although I am not single anymore, this book has been instrumental of switching my perspective when I was, and was a nice eye-opener.
Until next time,
IB
This week’s go-to outfit is all about blue & green:

Something that has been bringing a lot of joy lately is the “Gratitude” app. How it works, is you make a little circle with your friends, and you have to post 3 things that made your day. That’s it. The exercise is to work out the delight muscle every day, and try to find joy in the little things. So far - my top 3 things that brought me joy the most are 1) The Sun 2) Slow mornings 3) Breakfast at home before work. Highly recommend doing it with a group of friends, keeping each other accountable.
