Dear all,
I hope this e-mail finds you well.
Exec Summary: You might ask yourself, why did you sign up to another “newsletter”, well I have an answer for you: This is barely a letter, and there will be little “news” about it. Since a couple of months I was longing to become a bit more independent of the ever-changing Instagram algorithm, so here we are, the reason you are reading this. This space is intended to summarize the advices I so generously receive through my DMs from you, be it about the best office bags or how to retain women in the finance workplace.
I want to explore a bit my creative side of writing my thoughts down, outside the usual PowerPoint Pitch Decks.
I hope you will enjoy this journey together with me.
Table of contents: I will try to include some fashion recommendations, part of them on my wish-list, some things that I already own. I will also add things I found interesting on the internet lately, articles or M&A deals that I think are important to point out. Feel free to always write me on Instagram if you found something interesting to share with this little community.
Timeline: I am not sure yet, I hope I can start doing it once a month, and then increase the frequency as it goes.
Appendix: We are officially exiting the depths of winter, which means our wardrobe automatically looses 3 layers. I will share below my go-to outfit that usually improves my mood and makes my day a little brighter, including some things that I already own and adore (like a timeless Hermes Scarf, the Max Mara cashmere scarf or the Bottega) and some items that are still on my wishlist. All in the camel/beige tones, to neutralize the gray from outside.
Best regards,
IB

A ski hotel that we recently stayed at and had an amazing time was Haus Jausern, situated in Saalbach, Austria. A true highlight was the sauna(s), which had an amazing view outside. Do note, it’s an Austrian sauna, so covering up or wearing a bathing suit is very much frowned upon. As someone who is still getting used to this “tradition”, I am conflicted about how I feel about it. The only sure thing about saunas is - no muscle pain and very good sleep, so in the end - I guess it’s worth it.
